Opening in 1970, The Heel has always been known for their quality foot attire and have recently expanded their services by focusing on foot health rather than just the shoe. This was the first project Stellar Blue has completed for The Heel.
When users first arrive on the landing page, see The Heel’s updated logo, a Quill Creative original, set on a backdrop of a picture of inside the store. Right under the logo are two interactive icons that allow visitors a shopping option or a chance to learn more about the company’s approach to their craft. At the top of the page is an interactive navigation bar that allows easy access to information on company history, product line, foot health, staff, shoe repair, shopping options and contact information. Just above the navigation bar are also store hours and phone number. As users move down the homepage, they will come to three interactive text boxes with enlarging images when hovered over. These boxes link to pages written for information on the available shoe selection, background on the staff and their in-house shoe cobbler. Next, users will find two slide bars that show the featured products and brands available at The Heel. At the bottom of the homepage, users have the opportunity to join The Heel’s mailing list by providing basic contact information.
”We are really excited about how the website turned out,” says Owner and Managing Director Jim Dobinski. “Much like the shoes they sell, The Heel wanted a website that was fast, comfortable and best for their customers and I think we were able to provide them with that.”
The primary goal of the website was to showcase the extensive product line while allowing simple purchasing abilities. The website features a WordPress integration that allows for fast and simple content updates and setup. There is also a Woocommerce integration that allows for full control of the product line by being able to track and update inventory. A standard blog has been added to the website for user friendliness as visitors can learn more about the world of shoe and foot health. Finally, there is a basic feedback form included for information requests.

Earth Sense Energy Systems, based out of Dale, Wisconsin is the Country’s largest retailer of pellet burning stoves and inserts, dedicated to the sales, service, and installation of energy-efficient, high-quality products, and accessories since 1991.
Earth Sense Energy Systems contacted Stellar Blue to streamline their e-commerce experience for their new and existing customers as well as incorporating a website design refresh that reflected their current brand look and feel.
Their homepage features large imagery of their products in a variety of environments and puts their products at the center of attention. Stellar Blue incorporated the brand’s rustic font along with a torn paper effect and muted colors to reflect their current branding while keeping the focus on the products themselves.
The site also features an interactive dealer location map that will direct customers to a dealer if the product they wish to purchase can not be purchased online.

Our team at Stellar Blue Technologies had the opportunity to build and launch a new custom website. It was important that we listened to their story to truly understand their brand in order to exceed expectations on their web design and development project and showcase the unique personality of the Balestrieri brand.
Balestrieri wanted to create a beautiful website including galleries to showcase their projects as well as highlight the services they offer. It was important to acknowledge their team, culture, and values including their K9 icons.
The Balestrieri website had many unique animations and design elements including a zoom feature photos, video background loops, equipment animation, interactive mouseover effect on employee photos, locations, and more!

The Hemophilia Outreach Center located in Green Bay Wisconsin is a comprehensive treatment center that provides care, knowledge, and support to those diagnosed with bleeding disorders.
Their drive to create support network and provide knowledge to those with bleeding disorders led them to Stellar Blue in search of a new website. They wanted an easy to navigate website that provides their patients with comprehensive information while incorporating a brand refresh to give the website a modern and clean look.
The design team incorporated their brand’s colors and logo elements throughout the new refresh and added in some additional colors to their brand palette to bring contrast and diversity to the site. The curved elements of the logo were mirrored in the curved section dividers and graphic elements which adds visual interest while also leading visitors’ eyes down the page.
The design and development teams worked together to incorporate an animated process section that walks newly diagnosed patients through the steps of their journey with a bleeding disorder, by making this layer interactive it not only holds the visitors attention but provides invaluable information as to the next step they have to take with the Hemophilia Outreach Center.
Other features on the site include social media feed, custom designed interior pages, donation form, and online bill pay.
