For more than 40 years, CMD Corp. has gone beyond building machines.  It is their mission to continually advance technology to offer real value through equipment – for process efficiencies; new products and package styles; cost and energy savings and more.

Goals

One of the biggest struggles that CMD Corporation had prior to working with Stellar Blue was not being able to access their website and update content on their own. They were looking for a more user-friendly interface that could put them into the driver seat and take control of their website firsthand.

They were looking to update their website with a fresh, new look. The ultimate goal was to have better usability for their visitors. They wanted to create a better experience to help users navigate through their website to find what they are looking for.

Solution

We first began by moving their website to WordPress, which after the final launch of their site would allow them easy access to the backend and future ability to update and change content as they desired. We also implemented Elementor to their site. This is a page builder plugin that allows CMD to create custom templates for each page, giving them control to include videos and photos, clickable buttons, columns for text, and so much more. 

To help their users navigate through the website easier, we created large “call to actions” that guide the user to the right place on their site, giving them a step-by-step process to get them to the product or machine they are looking for.

We also created a sales rep page that lists the specific areas that each rep covers with tags and filters for easy search ability for the user. Since CMD sells nationally and internationally, this functionality helps a user access the correct sales rep more quickly.
