Stellar Cares: Our Day at Fox Valley Humane Association

The Blue Crew is incredibly passionate about making a difference in our corner of the world. We live to build amazing digital brands. We love ALL things geek, but we love all things furry a tad more!

Last month, six of our Stellar team members spent the day volunteering at the Fox Valley Humane Association (FVHA). FVHA cares for more than 5,000 animals every year and offers a full range of services. The nonprofit organization’s mission focuses on saving lives.

Well – we came in with our own mission to help in any way possible! With sleeves rolled up, bags and gloves in hand, our team members helped beautify the campus by clearing weeds and debris from the landscaping around the front entrance, as well as in the back of campus where the dogs play and run.

Of course, our crew was lucky enough to meet some of the pets up for adoption, including Archie (pictured below) who needs extreme surgery to repair both cruciate ligaments. Despite feeling sore, Archie was so happy to be center of attention and even happier to eat all the treats!
