A great logo should be…
1. Unique & Memorable
It doesn’t have to be flashy or complex. It just needs to stick with your audience. Give it something subtle and clever.

Your logo needs to be able to display in multiple environments at various sizes. Make sure it will successfully scale larger and smaller when needed. Also make sure it is the shape of your logo is compatible with areas it will likely be placed.

3. Clean & Simple
Busy logos can be very confusing, difficult to read, even more difficult to scale and print, and just an overall headache. If you are going to incorporate iconography into your logo, keep it simple.

4. Timeless & Right For You
Choose a style that makes sense for you and your brand. For example, if you’re designing a logo for feminine hygiene products, stay away from big, bold fonts. Also, stay away from what’s hip. What’s trending today could be faux pas tomorrow.
