Green Website Showcases Community Benefit Tree’s Roots

Stellar Blue is excited to announce the launch of a new custom website for Community Benefit Tree (CBT). CBT is a Kaukauna, Wis., based organization that works to help people affected by medical crises with their finances and resources.  This is the first custom website that Stellar Blue Technologies has constructed for CBT.

Features:
When visitors first come to the new website they will see, in the top right corner, a small drop down navigation bar with information on the organization’s background, news & media, how to contact them and also a login for registered returning visitors. Located beneath that is another interactive navigation bar with information on how to apply, what people can do to be part of the cause, programs, the celebration center and a calendar of events. There is also a search bar and clickable link to make a donation. Visitors are then met with a trio of interchanging hero images with pictures of people and families they have had the opportunity to help and support. Moving down the homepage, visitors then find currently running funds that are open for donations and an area that offers more information on what makes CBT different from other assistance agencies and how you can be involved. At the bottom of the page are a number of icons showing users where the money that is raised and donated goes for the families that are being assisted by CBT.

“A goal for the website was to showcase all of the ways that CBT gives back to the community through images and success stories,” says Technical Director Dustin White. “Community Benefit Tree is such a wonderful organization within the community so making sure the website highlights their opportunities for involvement was essential.”

Goals:
A primary goal of the website was to spotlight all of the positive work CBT does in and around the community. In order to accomplish that, the custom website focused on integrating a WordPress working CMS template. This makes for fast and easy content updates. WordPress also contains a custom crowdfunding platform to provide users with a way to manage and setup crowdfunding pages. The website also has a newsletter signup form that shows up on every page of the website allowing users to be updated on all of the current events and news for CBT. With these website properties, CBT is able to inspire people to get involved and make a difference!
