It Takes a Village: Riverview Gardens Launches New Website!

Stellar Blue is proud to announce that Riverview Gardens has now launched their own custom new website! Riverview Gardens, located in downtown Appleton, Wis., is an organization that provides job training within the surrounding community. Stellar Blue was fortunate to have worked with Riverview Gardens on a previous website as the developer. This marks the first full website project to include strategy to design to development, for the organization.

Features:
The website focuses on the organization’s strategic planning goals to highlight the programs and the impact the organization has throughout the community. The features that have been integrated into the website include custom design, WordPress integration, calendar integration, blog integration, ecommerce and an interactive map of the grounds. The website also utilizes responsive web design which allows visitors to easily view the site from their personal devices while on the go.

“Stellar Blue was an early supporter of Riverview Gardens’ and its initiatives,” said Managing Director Jim Dobinski. “Being able to provide them an even more robust website that is mobile compatible is a great way for us to lend our talents back to our community.”

Goals:
As an organization that prides itself on community involvement and giving back to people in need of a helping hand, having an easily accessible navigation bar is an essential piece of the website. As soon as viewers enter the website, they will be greeted with a multitude of different photos of people taking part in the organization’s initiatives. The navigation bar at the top, also allows visitors to investigate the website in regards to the vision and mission of Riverview Gardens to how to be involved on a proactive level. As you delve further into the website, there is an interactive scroll key that helps viewers find their purpose for visiting the website may that be to donate to the cause, shop or even volunteer for the organization. The website also comes equipped with a calendar of events and a set of running statistics of the impact Riverview Gardens has made.
